Extended Class Description:
TERRORISM - TERR101
TERRORISM - TERR101 Understanding Terrorism is found in the root of the word “TERROR”. The state of being terrified impacts your mind and arouses feelings associated with extreme FEAR. There are two main goals and objectives common to all Acts of Terrorism. 1.) To frighten, cause extreme fear, and terrify those who hear about the Act of Terrorism. 2.) To claim credit and get recognition, and media attention which publicly highlights and examines who the Terrorist are and their reasons for the Act of Terrorism. TERRORISM: The intentional use of violence against innocent civilians to promote terror and fear in pursuit of publicizing some cause or belief. What you will study: TERRORISM - Does not solve problems.
The Public’s Demand for Answers: When a Terrorist act occurs the public needs and wants answers to specific questions. Why do Terrorists attack innocent people?
