Same-Sex Marriage - Same101

Same-Sex Marriages or marriage equality is not just about the right to marry the person you choose.  This class studies the current, future and hidden issues that same-sex relationships extends to family, friends, co-workers, employers and the community where you live.

The personal introduction of a same-sex married couple to the family, friends, classmates, coworker, social gatherings, the community, and the world seeks to change and redefine the meaning of:

1.)  This is my Wife... (Woman)

2.)  This is my Husband... (Man)

3.)  This is my Partner or Spousal Partner... (Same Sex)

The definition of wife and husband cannot and should not be changed.  It means what it means and has a meaning that is acceptable to a Global system of beliefs, faiths, cultures, and community.

United Nations

UNITED NATIONS = 196 Countries

GLOBALLY, same-sex couples are not married.  In the 196 Countries recognized by the United Nations, less than 35 currently recognize same-sex marriages.  Same-sex married couples do not have equal rights globally and it may be largely due to definitions and terminology.

What you will study:

PARTNER - Should have Equal Status

Transgender, LGBTQ, Gay, Lisbon, Cisgender, Intersex, Non-Binary are all terms with overlapping meanings.   These terms are all used to describe the individual who may not or do not identify his/her person as male or female within the traditional meaning.

The language of explaining Same-Sex Couples has not been clearly defined.  The book or final word on acceptable terminology recognized locally or globally has not been written.  This class’s focus is to identify definitions and terms and create a dictionary that should define and explain what is misinformation, misunderstood, and miseducation.

Parental Education, School Age Sex Education, Adult Sex Education, and the Entertainment Industry need guidance on these issues.  Modern Day experiences are communicating miseducation regarding:
