Porn and Adult Entertainment - Porn101 Porn for Entertainment: This class studies the impact of Adult Porn on all aspects of our lives. What is Porn Addiction? Does it impact crime, our jobs & relationships? Is Porn a viable substitute or tool? Revenge Porn: Accessing, creating, or exchanging legal and or illegal Adult Porn by family, friends, students, or employees has become unlawful misconduct that can result in jail time, lawsuits, and suicides. Porn Industry: Porn is the highest-grossing, money-making industry on the internet, Worldwide. Impact on Crime: Does Pornography increase or decrease sexual crimes? Impact on Sexual Harassment: Does Pornography increase or decrease Sexual Harassment on campus, or in the workplace? Porn and Religion: Is Pornography offensive to your spiritual and religious beliefs? Both believers and non-believers indulge in the use of Porn. Porn can be Harmless: Watching Pornography could be a case of curiosity, or the person may genuinely enjoy porn with no ill effects.
What you will study: Pornography has always been with us, and it’s always been controversial. Some people aren’t interested in it, and some are deeply offended by it. Others partake of it occasionally, and others on a regular basis. It all boils down to personal preference and personal choice.
It’s important to note that “Porn Addiction” isn’t an official diagnosis recognized by the American Psychiatric Association (APA). But experiencing an uncontrollable compulsion to view porn can be as problematic for some people as other behavioral addictions.
