PET - Pet101 Many Pets serve very useful purposes in the lives of their owners. This class studies ownership and the cultural meanings of animals and other creatures as Emotional Support Animals, Symbols, Pets, & Mascots. Security and Guard dogs. This class also covers the social and cultural significance of animals and other earthly creatures as astrological symbols. What you will study: Pet Ownership AwarenessPet owners should know the local rules and laws that govern pet ownership. This class studies the complexities that are associated with Pet Ownership and Humane Treatment. Having a non-human as a member of the family requires a unique understanding of laws and rules that are put in place to protect the public from Dangerous Animals, Irresponsible Owners, and Animal Cruelty. 85 Million - Pet Ownership in the United StatesSixty-seven percent of U.S. households, or about 85 million families, own a pet, according to the 2019-2020 National Pet Owners Survey conducted by the American Pet Products Association (APPA).

This class contains explicit information regarding Animals and Non-human Creatures as Pets and co-Workers, and objects or specimens for study and experimentation. Some content may be perceived as racially sensitive because of cultural use of specific animals. You may be required to view videos, images, and access social media profiles that you may find very unpleasant and offensive. Issues involving Animal rights is a global concern however, it becomes a local or very personal issue when it impacts your family, education, and the workplace.
We positively encourage you to enroll in this course. Your friends, family, co-workers, and community are all impacted by the subject matter. This class gives you a platform to study the issues, and respond to current events with the virtual goal of dynamically creating problem-solving solutions. |

This class is complete-able in 4 to 6 weeks or less and requires a commitment of 2 to 4 hours per week.
