Workplace, Schools, and Community - Div101 Workplace, Diversity; means employing people who may be different from each other and who do not all come from the same background. The differences may be those of national origin or ethnic group, physical appearance, religion, education, age, gender, or sexual orientation. Workplace Discrimination; means detrimental and prejudicial treatment in the workplace, which may affect hiring, firing, promotions, equal pay, job assignments, training, benefits and/or layoffs, based on a person’s age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origins, marital status or disabilities. This class provides Students, Employees, and Managers with Diversity and Discrimination Sensitivity and Awareness Training. Through fun and creative exercises, you will understand why diversified schools, workplaces, and communities are important and how intentional and unintentional acts or actions discriminate against the protected class. EEOC Discrimination Complaints: The goals and objectives of this class are to reduce or eliminate the filing of EEOC Complaints by educating students, employees, and managers to identify, avoid and resolve discriminatory practices and behaviors.
Satisfies all States and Federal mandatory Diversity and Discrimination training requirements.

Issues involving Diversity and Discrimination is a global concern, however, it becomes local when it impacts your family, school, workplace, and the community where you live.

Any adult, college student or non-college student 18 years or older may complete the free and simple pre-registration process for this class without obligation. However, official Government ID Verification will be required before any Certificates of Completion are issued… This class does not require heavy or obscure memorization, complex math, or tons of classwork, however a commitment to ‘Researching Current Events’ and some ‘Social Networking’ is required. This class is complete-able in 4 to 6 weeks or less and requires a commitment of 2 to 4 hours per week. To complete this class students must satisfactorily complete and document all assigned course work, such as:
